Washrooms

● Students must read and adhere to the signage and guidelines posted outside washrooms at all times. ● The signage outlines how many people are permitted in each washroom at one time. ● Students must sanitise their hands before entering the washroom and wash their hands with soap and water before leaving. ● No eating or drinking is permitted in washrooms. ● No more than one student may be in a stall at one time. ● Electronic devices are not permitted to be used in washrooms. ● If students are not able to independently follow these protocols without reminders, they will be asked to learn from home until they can adhere to the protocols. Every student is expected to comply with the following to help ensure everyone’s safety: ● No student should attend campus if they have one or more of the following symptoms: fever (temperature of 37.8°C or greater), cough, shortness of breath, decrease or loss of taste or smell, sore throat, stuffy and/or runny nose, headache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue, lethargy, muscle aches and/or malaise. ● Tell your teacher immediately upon feeling unwell or experiencing any of the above symptoms. ● Refrain from hugging and handshaking; there are other ways to say “hi” and express your friendship and care for others. ● No sharing of food or drinks. ● Remain at arms-length distance from each other and from employees. ● Do not rearrange any desks or furniture. ● Follow directions for the use of common areas, washrooms and classrooms. ● Cough and sneeze into your elbow or a tissue and dispose of tissues immediately. ● Wash or sanitize your hands after coughing, sneezing, entering/leaving classrooms and washrooms and before/after eating. ● Lockers will not be used until further notice. You must carry your daily belongings with you in a bag or backpack, including food and a labelled water bottle. Student and Family Responsibilities
