If a student repeatedly breaches these directions despite reminders or feedback, they will be removed from the class and their parent/guardian will be contacted by the appropriate Head of School to discuss next steps. If necessary, the parent/guardian will be asked to pick-up the student immediately and they will not be allowed to return to campus until their behaviour is manageable.

We encourage students to return to campus for learning, community connections and overall wellbeing:

● Parent meetings will be conducted via Zoom or telephone. ● No excursions or overnight camps will continue until further notice.

Remote Learning

● If a student or a member of the student's household is at a greater risk of a more serious illness, if they are infected with COVID-19 or if there are other reasons why they are unable to return to school, we strongly encourage you to contact your child’s Head of School to discuss this matter further. ● For students with visa issues or other significant reasons whereby they are unable to attend school for a long period of time, they will become remote learning students. Remote learning students will have online access to the Academic Program. ● Parents who have determined with their Head of School that their child will be attending school remotely, must complete the Remote Learning Registration form. ○ Remote Student Registration Form ● Remote learning students are able to return to school after school breaks, for example after Thanksgiving, November long weekend, December break, Family Day weekend or March Break.. An email will be sent out in advance of each school break with a form for families to notify the school if their child is returning to on-campus learning. ● Students who cannot be on campus due to illness, or those who have been instructed by Toronto Public Health to quarantine, will be able to access their class instructions online. Parents need to inform either the Junior School Office or Day School Office in those situations when their child will be absent for an extended period of time.
