5. two exams  scheduled on  the  same day  for a  student who has a documented  learning  support and/or guidance assessment accommoda on  that  s pulates  the  student write a  single exam per day;  6. a  school‐sanc oned athle c  tournament or provincial  compe on; and/or  7. an extenua ng  circumstance. 

Please note here  that ALL examina on  conflicts must be  resolved  in wri ng by  the VP, School  Life & Opera ons  two weeks before examina ons begin. 

Accommoda ons  for Final Evalua ons  Students will be provided with accommoda ons according  to  the  following  three  condi ons: 

1. Accommoda ons Based on Educa onal Assessments: Year‐round accommoda ons are  allocated based on  recommenda ons provided  to  the  school  through a psycho‐educa onal  assessment. A  student with established  year‐round accommoda ons will meet with her Guidance  Counsellor or  Learning  Support  Specialist prior  to  the exam period  to  review her assessment  accommoda ons. She must use  the  same accommoda ons  for all of her exams. For example,  this  will mean  that  if  she  is:  ● using  the Quiet Small Room  for one exam,  she will be  there  for all exams;  ● wri ng with her  class  for one exam,  she will be  there  for all exams; and   ● using a  computer  in  the Computer  Lab  for one exam,  she will be  there  for all exams.   2. New Accommoda ons Based on Educa onal Assessments: New psycho‐educa onal  assessments must be  received  three weeks before final exams begin  if  the assessment  accommoda ons are  to be  implemented  for  that  year’s exams. Assessments  received a er  this  date will be  implemented  in September  in  the  following academic  year, unless  there are  extenua ng  circumstances.   3. Emergency Accommoda ons  for Final Exams:   If a  student arrives at  school on  the morning of  her exam with a  cer fied doctor’s note  reques ng new accommoda ons, her exams  for  that day  will be  rescheduled  to  the allocated  “Conflict Day”  (o en  the  last day  in  the exam block)  in order  to give  the  school  me  to  review  the note and  to apply  those new accommoda ons  to be  consistent with  school prac ce. Her other exams will  con nue as  scheduled with any  accommoda ons, as  required. All notes  from  the  students’ physicians are  to be provided  to  the  VP, School  Life & Opera ons.
