Members of the Class of 1962 celebrating their reunion.

CLASS REPS: Janet Cox Lumbers, Mary Davis Nelles and Nancy Lash Robinson We were a small group for our 55th Reunion last fall. Next time, invitations will go out earlier in hopes of a bigger turnout. At the school cocktail party, Bev Galley stopped in to say hello. She’s living in Kitchener-Waterloo but travels globally, working with other cultures on educational issues; in India, she worked with the Dalit of Trivandrum and in Hangzhou, China, at the International Education Forum as the opening speaker and panel participant on “The Differences between Chinese Education and Foreign Education.” There have also been forays to Vietnam, the Philippines, Singapore and

Seoul, Korea. Who knows where her next adventure will take her! Later, we were joined by Mary Brewin Lewis and Yvonne Monster Beffort for an evening of remembrances, news and fun at the home of Mary Davis Nelles . Mary Brewin Lewis retired after 20 years at the Heart and Stroke Foundation and anticipates more trips with her grandchildren. After founding a liberal arts college in Singapore, her son Pericles is back at Yale focusing on global strategies/international relations. Her daughter Jennifer teaches ECE at Seneca College, while her other daughter Rosie is busy with politics and knitting. Her husband Bruce continues to practise law.
