CLASS OF 2000 BURSARY TOTAL AS AT MAY 31, 2017

CLASS REPS: Kelly Thompson Polci and Robin Smulders We have a lot of exciting news to share from the Class of 2000. Kelly Thompson Polci and Robin Smulders are super excited to be your new Class Reps, and want to thank you ladies for your contributions this year! We have a pretty incredible class full of very successful and interesting women. Andrea (Ange) Aikenhead Rocca enjoys being home with two active young children and her dog. Cayleigh Warrack Murtaugh is living it up in Nicaragua on a shared parental leave with her husband and children. Chloe Brown Schumacher is happy teaching elementary school and parenting two kids, but is also exhausted from her world of children. Kimberley (Kim) Foote is happy living where the rest of us vacation (let’s all take a moment and be jealous). Jessica Lewis Feader is enjoying her new position as campaign communications manager at Havergal. Lynda Morgan is busy with her criminal lawyer position at Fenton Smith Barristers; if you’re ever in trouble with the law, call Lynda! Alison Minard recently made partner at Miller Thompson LLP handling private client services. Michela Barnett Ellis is a partner at Graham Thompson in Nassau, Bahamas. Lindsay Shirreff is an OB/GYN at Mount Sinai Hospital (so keep an eye out if you’re delivering at Sinai). Alessandra Palombo recently began providing home- based palliative care and is also teaching at McMaster’s medical school. Adrienne Begg MacCharles stays busy with her investing job at KingSett Capital. Lyndsay Hayhurst has a new position as an assistant professor in the faculty of health at York University. Lisa McKeown is a PhD candidate at The New School and defends her dissertation next fall. Kelly Thompson Polci is enriched by some volunteer work for the Douglas Wright Foundation focused on melanoma prevention. Robin Smulders has left the travel industry and has pursued a career in real estate. Jana Reid has left the corporate workforce to start a children’s clothing line called Modern Rascals (it’s super cute). Taryn Wittlin lives in Los Angeles and has a jewellery line called Trixy Star, which has some pretty cool pieces. She is working on a collaboration with The Grateful Dead! Sophie Kohn

is head writer and managing editor of CBC Comedy and enjoys doing standup comedy in her spare time. We are hoping to get a class evening together and attend one of Sophie’s shows! Anjali Pala is a book designer in New York. She recently received an award at the New England Book Show. Congrats, Anjali! Dayne Ortved lives in Calgary and plans to commence her practice in obstetrical medicine soon.
