CLASS OF 1999 ENDOWMENT TOTAL AS AT MAY 31, 2017
CLASS REPS: Jessica Cook, Angela Fenwick and Jessica Oliver The Class of 1999 is keeping very busy at home and abroad. Erin Harrigan Coker moved to Halifax with her husband and 5-year-old twin boys Tom and Jamie. She works as a family physician at Dalhousie Student Health and Wellness. They love the East Coast and will be there for the next two to three years. Kaitlin Doherty is a school garden educator living with her husband and daughter June in Rhinebeck, N.Y. Martha Cohen Simmons is the vice-chair of the board at Havergal. She has two daughters who attend HC and a son at UCC. She is a professor at Osgoode Hall Law School, where she teaches mediation and negotiation. Meera Ruparelia still works as a speech and language pathologist with children. She got married in Mexico in April. Annette Chan works in marketing and lives in Toronto with her husband and son. Julia Kelk runs a bike-fitting business with a focus on Ironman triathlons with her husband. She lives in Florida with her husband and daughter Eva Lake. Lindsay Stovel lives in Winnipeg and welcomed a baby boy Kevin. In July, she will go back to being the executive director of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. Kelsey Schram is a national sales rep for a special needs education company. She has one daughter and another baby on the way. Antonia Fifi owns women’s clothing boutiques in Trinidad, where she lives with her daughter and son. Jessica Oliver works in politics and government relations. She lives in Toronto with her son Ben and her daughter Ellie. Meredith Ashton Beales is corporate counsel at Home Depot and has two daughters, Brooke and Taylor. Christy Lynde Nicolucci lives in London, Ontario and is a dentist running a busy family practice with her husband and in- laws. Last year, she took Disney Institute training. At home she has three girls ‒ Elyssa, Alexandra and Kate. Bonnie Kwok Pang works for the Standard Chartered Bank in London, England, where she lives with her husband and two daughters. She will move to Hong Kong later this year. Stephanie Cleare is an insurance broker in the
Bahamas. Teresa Bishara is a pharmacist at North York General Hospital. She has two kids ‒ 6 and 2.5 years old. Jenny Yip finished maternity leave and lives in San Francisco, where she works at the Gates Foundation as a partner on the impact investing team. She has two kids ‒ Penelope and Sebastian. Alessia Soppelsa runs an architecture practice in Toronto, where she lives with her husband and twin boys Gabriele and Sabastiano. Alexandra (Alex) Sadvari is an environmental, planning and development lawyer at Gowling WLG. She lives in Toronto with her husband and son and is expecting another baby this year. Yatri Shah lives in Toronto with her 7-year-old son Vahin. She is a group and vacation travel specialist – an incredibly positive experience as she helps people fulfil their travel goals! Sarah Peddie Sorrentino still lives in Arizona, running a chiropractic clinic in Scottsdale. She has two sons ‒ Jack and Luke. Rachel Silver lives down the street from HC with her three kids and works as a genetic counsellor at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto. In very sad news, Barbara (Barb) Bassel passed away suddenly on November 7, 2016.
