CLASS REP: Amanda Karahanas As of March 2017, Ashraf Shariff lives in Toronto with her husband and 10-month-old daughter Liyana and works for TD Securities. Natasha Gustajtis is a senior category business manager and a committee member and active contributor to the Canadian Tire Women’s Leadership Network. Amanda Karahanas took a year off from work and focused on her judging qualifications for sailing and joined the board of the Disabled Sailing Association of Ontario. This year, Jennifer (Jen) McNeely celebrates the 10th anniversary of Shedoesthecity.com, with approximately two million readers per year! Her son Elliot Fox is 3. Jen, Julia Boyd and Jessica Olivier Hersey went to the Women’s March in Washington together. Marnie MacDougall is the director of international recruitment at Seneca College, which gives her the chance to travel the world. She and her husband celebrated their 10th anniversary. Rachel Begg is a social worker for a non- profit in East York. Her son Rodrigo is now 3. Sarah Tuck works in community mental health as a child psychologist and welcomed baby James, little brother to Peter. Monique Smart lives in Oakville with her husband Andrew and welcomed baby John Andrew in April 2016. She heads back to work at MTE as an environmental consultant. Jennifer (Jen) Anderson lives in an old farmhouse in Muskoka with her husband Gavin and 4-year-old son Jasper. Jen spent a few years as a teacher in the far north, and is now a partner in Collective Noun, a creative marketing

agency. In Ottawa, Taryn Burul Earle teaches high school English literature. Her daughter Carys 8 keeps Taryn busy! Jennifer Lipson is a dermatologist. Her daughter Sophia is 18 months. Michelle Murti welcomed Georgia Ling Lutz in April 2016. In the United States, Julia Boyd resides in Manhattan, where she practises private equity law. Danielle (Asha) Gormandy Lee and her husband James welcomed a son Cy (their third) in July 2016 and live outside of New York City in Glen Ridge, New Jersey. Kersta Lielmanis lives in Texas; her three boys Kilner, Griffen and Oliver keep her busy! She works in medical sales and has also started to sell Rodan and Fields. Catherine (Cat) Scully Neilson is still in Eastbourne, England. She has recently written and published her first in a series of children’s books (on Facebook: @sunshinekooks). Cat keeps busy with her two kids ‒ Clara 6 and Elliot 1. In Australia, Martha Kernohan Peacock and her husband live in Sydney, where she leads McCann Health Australia and enjoys beachside living, running, Pilates and travelling.
