SECURITY
Purchases in both the Hawkins Dining Room and the Green & Gold Shop will be accumulated and charged to your child’s account on a monthly basis.
For the protection of all students, any student found using a card not belonging to her will have the card confiscated and returned to an Administrator. Inquiries about lost cards should be made to Security staff at the Security Desk. Students must produce their actual swipe card for purchases. Digital copies of swipe cards (photos, scans) will not be accepted. Replacing Swipe Cards A card that is deemed to be malfunctioning will be replaced at no additional cost. Cards that are damaged by the student or lost will be replaced at a cost of $20. Each time a student receives a new card, their account will be billed. No markings, including drawings or stickers, should appear on the cards. Student photos must be clearly visible and recognizable as the owner of the card.
Valuables and Personal Items
Valuables, including electronics and significant amounts of cash, should not be brought to school. The school cannot assume responsibility for loss or theft.
Junior School Lockers and Cubbies
● All Junior School students are assigned a locker or cubby. Teachers will support students to ensure that it remains clean and tidy. ● Each locker room/cubby space must be kept clean and items are not permitted to be left outside of lockers or cubbies. ● Students in Grades 5 and 6 must have a lock and locker combination, which will be kept in the student’s record. ● In the winter, mats are placed on the floor for student boots.
Upper School Lockers
● All Upper School students are assigned an individual locker. The student is responsible for ensuring the locker remains locked at all times and clean and tidy. ● Each locker must have a lock and the combination will be kept in the student’s records. ● Each locker room space must be kept clean and items are not permitted to be left outside of lockers.
