2. Experiential Education : Students engage with different people, places, perspectives and partnerships by participating in experiential education opportunities. These local, regional, national or international experiences allow them to explore and reflect on themselves and the role they can play as active citizens within their globally-interconnected future. Experiences can be a Havergal excursion, exchange or involvement in our Community Partnership or another experience planned and approved in co-ordination with the Forum for Change and their GLLD mentor. 3. Final Project : In their final year, students will be challenged to extend their module and experiential learning through a transdisciplinary, self-directed project they construct to either respond to a challenge, share the impacts of a social innovation or trend/propose solutions for issues that are relevant to their local or international communities. 4. Reflection and Mentorship: Students do not learn simply through experience; they learn by reflecting on their experience. Guiding prompts are provided in order for students to consolidate their thoughts and reflections. Student work is captured and curated over the time students spend in the program.

By pursuing the Global Learning Leading Diploma, students will:

1. TRANSFER their academic learning to authentic experiences. 2. BUILD and TEST their skills of global capability. 3. BUILD knowledge of emerging futures and skill sets to support thriving.

4. REFLECT on experiences and who they are as a learner. 5. INTEGRATE experiences into their lived experiences. 6. DEVELOP ETHICAL RESPONSIBILITY by critically challenging the status quo theory and perspectives in an ethical and productive dialogue.
