Intra-School Athletics The goal of the intra-school athletics program is to provide a variety of opportunities for all students to stay active and develop a lifelong commitment to healthy, active living while having fun. Students are given the opportunity to participate in intramurals and other athletic events school-wide throughout the year.

Athletic Facilities Athletic Centre

Opened in the fall of 2006, this 50,000 sq. ft. centre provides exceptional athletic facilities, spacious gathering areas as well as classroom and office space. The main entrance features generous proportions, full-height expanses of glass and a blend of concrete and stone. The concrete can be used as a stage with the South Quad as a spectator space. The regulation-size pool, double gym, change rooms, fitness room and associated facilities make this an unparalleled facility.

Aquatics Centre

The Aquatics Centre features a competition-ready, 25-metre pool with decks spacious enough for lesson activities. An elevated viewing area one floor above overlooks the pool, while change areas and staff facilities adjoin the west side.

Physiotherapy Room

Physiotherapists are at the Upper School on Mondays and Thursdays from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm in the Athletic Therapy Room, which is located in the athletics wing. The clinic is open from mid-September to mid-December and mid-January to the end of May. It is not operational during school closures. Physiotherapists provide assessment and treatment services relating to neuromusculoskeletal injury, concussion management, exercise prescription and rehabilitation education. While the service is dedicated to Havergal students, faculty and staff may make appointments for treatment if appointment slots are available.
