to returning students who are accustomed to a 2:40 pm dismissal on delayed start Wednesdays.  Here it is important to note, however, that your regular drop‑off routine need not change. 

Grade 11 students with spares landing in Period 1 on Wednesdays are expected to sign‑in at the  DSO. Grade 12 students with spares landing in Period 1 on a delayed start Wednesday do not have  to be present for their spare. The school day ends at 3 pm on delayed start Wednesdays.   Students can be dropped off on Wednesdays at whatever usual time works for your morning  commute. Early‑arriving students can work quietly in the Resource Centre, Temerty Commons,  Hawkins Dining Room or the Grad Common Room. 

Wednesday, Delayed Start Schedule (9:10 am Start and 3 pm Dismissal) 

9:10 am    – 10:20 am Attendance & Period 1 (70 minutes)  10:20 am  – 10:30 am Break (10 minutes)  10:30 am  – 11:40 am Period 2 (70 minutes)  11:40 am  – 12:30 pm Lunch (50 minutes)  12:30 pm  – 1:40 pm Period 3 (70 minutes)  1:40 pm    – 1:50 pm Break (10 minutes)  1:50 pm    – 3:00 pm Period 4 (70 minutes) 

Special Schedules  When special events call for special schedules (for example, during Founders’ Day), they will be  posted to the schedule board outside of the Day School Office, on the Student Bulletin and on  Veracross. Form & TA Attendance  Attendance is taken in Form and TA on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. On  Wednesdays, attendance is taken in first period classes. All faculty and students must be in either  Form or TA or their Period 1 class by 8:20 am (9:10 am on Wednesdays). Teachers record absences  and late arrivals as of 8:20 am (9:10 am on Wednesdays).
