Upper School  Lockers  Students are  issued a  locker  for use  throughout  the  school  year. Students must use  the  locker  assigned  to  them and  they may not use more  than one Havergal  locker. They are expected  to keep  all of  their books,  school  supplies and personal  items  locked  in  the  locker when not  in use. This  prevents  loss and possible  the . Three  scheduled  locker  cleanouts occur  in a  school  year. Prior  to  Christmas  vaca on and March Break,  students must  dy  their  lockers and  take home Physical  Educa on and other  clothing  for  cleaning and discard any  food or garbage. Prior  to final exams,  student must empty  their  lockers and  take home all belongings. Any  locker  that  is defaced will be  cleaned or  repaired and  the  cost will be  charged  to  the  student’s account.   Locks  Upper School  students provide  their own  combina on  locks. Extra‐strong, hardened‐steel  locks  are not permi ed because Security  cannot  remove  these  kinds of  locks with bolt‐cu ers when  required.  Lost and Found  (JK–Grade 6)  Items  found  in  the  school are  stored  in an area behind  the  stage  in  the  Junior School Gymnasium.  Three  mes a  year  (late  fall,  late winter,  late  spring)  these  items are placed on display  in  the main  hallway  for  students and parents  to  retrieve  lost  items. Parents are always welcome  to  look  through  the  lost and  found  storage.  Items of  significant  value are  stored  in  the  Junior School  Office.  Lost and Found  (Grade 7–12)  The Upper School  lost and  found  is affec onately  called The Pound.  It  is  located at  the west end of  Level B near  the Green & Gold Shop. Valuables  such as  swipe  cards, watches,  calculators and  glasses are handed  into and kept at  the Security Desk or  the Day School Office  (DSO). Any other  items  le  in  the  school will be  collected by  teachers and  the  cleaning  staff and placed  in one of  the boxes at The Pound.   Driving Precau ons  While on  the  school premises, always drive  cau ously, keeping  in mind  that  young  children  especially  can be unpredictable and may  some mes dart  in between  cars and greenery.
