visitors who are  in  the  school  to a end an organized  func on or  special event, Upper School  students are permi ed  to access  limited areas of  the  school  in order  to pick up or drop off  materials. All  students are expected  to  sign  in and out with  security. 

On evenings and days when  special events are  scheduled, access will be extended  to  facilitate  the  event and  security personnel will monitored  visitors  to  the  school.  

Day  students are welcome  in  the building outside of  the  school day  to par cipate  in  school‐related ac vi es.  It  is  important  to note, however,  that  students who arrive before  the  school day or ac vity begins or  remain a er  the  school day or ac vity ends are not directly  supervised. During  these periods,  students  should  remain  in public areas  such as  the Rotunda or  Temerty Commons. We ask  for parents’  support  in making  sure  that  students are picked up or  depart  from  the building  in a  mely  fashion.  Security Swipe Card  (Grades 7‐12)   All Upper School  students are  issued a mul purpose  security  swipe  card with photo  ID. Swipe  cards  issued  in previous  years are  s ll  valid  for  the  current  year. All  students are  responsible  for  their  cards and must have  their  cards available at all  mes.   Swipe Card Use  Students are  to use  their  swipe  card  to:  ● gain access  to  the  school at  their  secure grade‐designated entrance door;  ● borrow books and other materials  from  the Reta Weston  Library Resource Centre; and  ● for all purchases  in  the Hawkins Dining Room and  the Green & Gold Shop.   Purchases  in both  the Hawkins Dining Room and  the Green & Gold Shop will be accumulated and  charged  to  your daughter’s account on a monthly basis. A  limit of $20 a day has been  set  for  purchases  in  the Hawkins Dining Room. Parents may direct  requests  for adjustments  to  this  limit  to  the Food Service Director, with  the  student number  included. This  limit does not apply  to  purchases made  in  the Green & Gold Shop. Any unused amounts  from  the previous academic  year will be applied  to  the  student’s account  for use  in  the  following academic  year.   For  the protec on of all  students, any  student  found using a  card not belonging  to her will have  the  card  confiscated and  returned  to an Administrator.  Inquiries about  lost  cards  should be made  to Security  Staff at  the Security Desk.
