CLASS OF 1947 BURSARY TOTAL AS AT MAY 31, 2019

A look back at the Class of 1947.

CLASS REPS: Beverly Brockett West and Carol McKee Wishart After 72 years, no news has come my way from the class this year, although I’m sure that some of us are still enjoying an independent and active lifestyle. I ( Beverly Brockett West ) was the only one from the Class of 1947 at the Cinquantenaires and Stoneagers Spring Luncheon in 2018, quite the change from the days when we filled two tables! Happily, we can look back and remember wonderful reunions through the years, at the homes of Daphne Fisher Currie, Diana (Di) Jacob Goad, Shelagh Dunwoody Whitaker, Helen Burden Murray and others. You might enjoy looking back at a picture of a group of beautiful women at one of these gatherings, and remember

fondly those friends, classmates and roommates who are no longer with us. We can be so thankful for those amazing friendships over so many years. One of our accomplishments has been the success of the Class of 1947 Bursary, which we established at our fabulous 50th Reunion and have watched grow with satisfaction through the years. Please continue to make your contributions to the Class of 1947 Bursary.
