She is also the founder and co-facilitator of the Braddock Community Oven in Braddock, PA.

Before moving, she was at the University of North Carolina, where she helped the soccer team get to the NCAA national championship. Hilary George-Parkin had a print feature about gender inequality in the fashion industry published in Glamour magazine and regularly contributes to CNN, Vox, Refinery29 and InStyle as a freelance journalist. Jessica Parry is qualifying as a U.K. solicitor into her firm’s (Reed Smith LLP) entertainment and media team in March. She’s also the new vice-chair of the LGBT group (PRISM) in the firm’s London office. Michelle Chakkalackal is finishing her final year of medicine in Ireland and very excited to come home to start her psychiatry residency at the University of Toronto! Karen Stanley has moved back from Vancouver and is opening up a zero-waste shop in the east end of Toronto. Katharine Brickman is an in-house legal counsel at Aurora Cannabis and has been running a book club for almost four years – its members include a few 2007 Old Girls! She married Brett Miller on June 25, 2019.

Amelia Calbry-Muzyka has worked as counsel in the human rights law section of the Department of Justice since 2016. This year, she’ll be a member of the Canadian delegation going to the UN Human Rights Council to negotiate human rights resolutions and is starting at the University of Ottawa’s LLM program with a concentration in legislative studies in the fall of 2019. She’s also an avid hiker and sings with Hypatia’s Voice Women’s Choir. Ann Kwon will finish residency training and has enjoyed everything she’s learned travelling in recent years. Anne-Marie Firth completed her MBA at Wharton and is now back to living full-time in Houston, Texas and working at Bain & Company. Celine Ko moved from capital markets into enterprise strategy as a senior manager at RBC. She also hit her goal of having travelled to 40 countries on four continents! Daphne Edmonds Hooper left litigation to live the good life as in- house counsel at Dealnet Capital. Emily Fernandes is getting married in November to Carsen Banister and spends
