CLASS OF 1996 CURRICULUM ENRICHMENT FUND TOTAL AS AT MAY 31, 2019

CLASS REPS: Jennifer (Jen) McCarthy Bidwell, Jennifer (Jenny) Lamont and Kendra Thompson Hello, lovely Class of 1996! Kristi Toi Greco and her husband Paul are launching a new business this spring called Chilly Moose. The products in their high-end line of wood and stainless drinkware, vacuum-insulated bottles and canteens, portable refrigerated coolers and apparel all have a distinct Canadian flair that is perfect for camping, cottaging and boating. Online sales are at chillymoose. com and on Instagram and Facebook. Watch out for Chilly Moose this summer in pop-ups in and around Muskoka and Georgian Bay. Kara Kennedy-Coull owns Little White Sneakers, a children’s boutique in Toronto. She will be mastering the art of mobile working while she and her husband Jeff take their kids to explore Hawaii and the surrounding islands for three months. She’s balancing this while also working as a consultant with a boutique firm. Kari McCreath is still living in London and can’t get enough of the lifestyle. Between working full-time and teaching fitness part-time, she still finds time to hit the slopes of Europe and the beaches of Ibiza whenever she can. Angela (Angi) Salomon Barkan is also enjoying living abroad in N.Y.C. with her darling daughter Sunny. She recently left Sony Music to become vice president of S-Curve Records/BMG, working with acts life AJR, Andy Grammer, Leslie Odom Jr. and others. She was recently added to the board of Central Park SummerStage. Ingrid Hakanson is still performing and is the staff educator for the respiratory therapy department at Vancouver Coastal Health. She was recently in Austin, Texas for SXSW. Tanja Vlahovich is working full-time in ED and coaches her son Max’s hockey team. Michelle St. Jacques was named chief marketing officer at MillerCoors, a huge accomplishment! Cynthia Warrack Mudd has taken on an exciting new role of executive producer at Redlab in Toronto, a visual effects and post-production company. Not confined

to working on commercials, Cynthia has had a hand in Schitt’s Creek, Working Moms, The Launch and even some feature films. She has also found time to travel – visiting Vietnam, Cambodia, the Azores and Cannes this past year. Sonal Champsee is still writing and expecting child #2 this summer. Katie Turner is finishing up her second mat leave and looking forward to going back to work at MEDA, a Waterloo-based international economic development organization. Farah Ismail Boddy is staying busy raising her son and working as director of professional conduct at the College of Nurses of Ontario, where she helped to create and establish the first-ever Nurse Health Program that supports nurses with mental health and addiction. Farah is also a board member at Havergal and chair of HOGA’s Governance Committee. Jen McCarthy Bidwell is still living in Toronto with her husband and two daughters. When she’s not working at Astral Media, she can be found on the ski hill or the cottage dock. Jenny Lamont also prefers life lakeside, but still lives in downtown Toronto with Rauol. Kendra Thompson is still working in consulting, and next year her eldest daughter Maren will start Grade 1 at Havergal. This year was all about renovating her house, something Willa Hoffmann is also living through for her house. Kendra, along with Meghan Arthur Tupholme, Kara Kennedy-Coull and Sarah Walters Beales are enjoying skiing together with their families. Last year Elizabeth Zahorchak-Chambers welcomed a son William. Our love goes out to her and her whole family as they continue to work to bring him home from the hospital.
