CLASS REPS: Linda Oland, Melinda Taylor and Mary McDerment Wellner Hello Ladies of 1984!! Here are this year’s tidbits – thanks to all who were in touch. Sharon Armstrong is busy with her life in Vancouver, working to help children and youth in care. Her family spends weekends at Whistler and she is looking forward to a trip to the U.K. with her father. Susan Blair Spratley and her husband are trying to travel as much as possible, now that one son is working in research at Sunnybrook and the other is set to graduate from fine arts at McGill. Sandy Buik is an HR exec in Toronto and volunteers with the Arthritis Society and Dress for Success, helping low- income women return to the workforce. She squeezes in as much cycling and skiing as she can! Helene Clarkson is launching her clothing line on the Shopping Channel in the fall and loves it when Old Girls pop by her store in the Royal York Hotel. Mary Ann Curtis has been enjoying a sabbatical, fulfilling her bucket list dream of touring New Zealand. Jennifer Dolman is marking 30 years at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt and is finishing her term on the Havergal board of governors. Her daughter Sasha graduates from Havergal this year; her daughter Abby will graduate in 2021. Barbara Fallon reports that she has more wrinkles and has been through two eyeglass prescriptions since last year!! Aimee Hampson Pitman and her husband David are almost empty nesters, but aren’t sure that

they are ready! Aimee works as a consultant in the real estate and tourism sectors. Lynne Hately is working for the Nature Conservancy of Canada from her Canmore home, where she can keep up with her two 15-year-old boys. Cindy Hayhurst and all of her boys are happily living in their 1893 Collingwood house, having survived the renovation. All three sons are ski racing, Cindy is working at the National Ski Academy and their business – Rossiter Boats – is thriving. Diana Hickey Carradine is working as a consultant to Ronald McDonald House Charities Canada and is taking the opportunity to see a different part of the world while her daughter Jessica is studying in Hong Kong. Mary McDerment Wellner has her daughter graduating from Havergal this year. Anna is off to pursue her dream of becoming a veterinarian. Fiona Mertens Small is back living in the San Francisco area after three years in Buckinghamshire, England, where she and her husband loved playing tourist every weekend! Graydon Moffat is very busy with her skin care line, working on some new formulas. Her son Julian is at McGill and she has adopted a rescue dog who is proving to be a good distraction! Nicola (Nicky) Von Schroeter says that her three children continue to keep her busy, but she loves to escape to their B&B in Scotland when she can…and invites everyone to check it out at http://www.ontheloch.com. Most important, we hope to see all of you in person next year for our 35TH Anniversary Reunion so we can catch up properly. Mark it in your calendar for the fall of 2019!
