CLASS REPS: Mary Metcalf Muir and Kathie Morris Wood Katie Armstrong continues both her work as a career coach at the Rotman School of Management and her private counselling practice. Martha King is selling real estate in Kelowna. Her daughter Ainsley is the manager of the café at Restoration Hardware in Yorkdale, Devon is graduating from York University with her master’s and Chandler is working on the Danforth as a stylist. Amy Vanderburgh ’s daughter Ashley is studying veterinary medicine in Grenada and is being married this summer. Alannah is finishing her master’s of information at U of T. Glenys Babcock had the honour of speaking at the 36th session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva. Fiona Main ’s two sons are engineers and her daughter is at U of T. Fiona is enjoying retirement. Christine Lay is director of the Centre for Headache at Women’s College Hospital. Her daughter Elizabeth is at Cornell and her son is in Grade 10. Tracy Wrong lives in Ottawa with all three kids; she continues her work as administrator at the Royal Ottawa Mental Health Hospital. Cathy Paterson McLean ’s twins graduate from high school. Cathy is managing physical activity programs for BC Recreation and Parks Association. Liz Lancaster launched a leadership development program after three years of research, design and testing. Her niece Charlotte starts at Havergal this fall. Robin Harris Porter and her family are enjoying their new house on the river east of Kingston. She rang in the new year in Florida with Michelle Mulloy Newton . Marie Guerette is now thankfully in remission for breast cancer. She treated herself to a Harley Davidson Street Glide. Kimberly Cooper ’s eldest daughter Morgan is expecting this August. Her second daughter Madison

has moved to Calgary to be with her sister. Thankfully, her mother is doing well since her stroke. Nancy Burton continues to work with children and families with trauma, attachment and mental health. Nancy is the proud step- grandmother of two beautiful girls aged three months and 21 months. Sandi Carter Waldie joined the ranks of grandmothers with the birth of Charlotte Louise. She still has an 11-year-old at home. Kingi Carpenter opened a vintage paint-by-number art gallery, silk screen studio and runs art classes and workshops. She does silk screen classes in women’s drop-in centres and will be doing an event at Havergal. Tiana Koffler Boyman is actively involved in the Koffler Gallery and Centre for the Arts. She is still competing in alpine racing and competed at the Masters World Championships. Her three eldest sons started a business called SIP BAR and her youngest son is graduating from McGill. Nannette Mady De Gaspe Beaubien was awarded a number of top beauty industry awards for her Nannette de Gaspe masks. She has just newly launched a Miss de Gaspe line. Shelley McPherson still lives in N.Y. and her latest play is called KNIFEPLAY . It just received its first reading in New York City. Jessica Thomson is still living in Ottawa working for the Canadian Forest Services on international forest policy. Mary Metcalf Muir did the 5th annual James Journey Walk, which has raised more than $187,000 for mental health. Her eldest daughter Kitty was diagnosed as bipolar and is doing well. Jennie graduated from Western U, is starting a PR program at Humber College and works for SIP BAR. Kathie Morris Wood is still in real estate. Her oldest son was married in September and her youngest is finishing his third year at Huron.
