and is working at Christies Auction House as a sales co- ordinator in the world art department. Caitlyn (Caity) Hui is involved in global child health research and was in New York this March at a conference organized by the Consortium of Universities of Global Health, where they started a global child health fellowship at SickKids. Veronica Knott accepted the Engineers Canada Gold Medal Student Award last May. She is working at an underground gold mine for Barrick in Northern Ontario and recently judged a mining innovation competition called #DisruptMining. Annie Lopez completed her biomedical engineering master’s degree (M.Sc.) at Queen’s University, where she created the BraillePad – a portable, durable and inexpensive device for children with visual impairments in the Philippines. She is now working at Amico Interiors Corp., developing various products for health-care facilities. JiNa Kim has been pursuing music and is a manager at a

downtown Toronto pie shop. Joey Ma moved to South Korea and teaches English at a Canadian-based private school. Meredith Pennal completed a diploma in clinical trials management and works at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre as a data and regulatory co-ordinator for oncology and benign hematology studies. Jessica Quaggin-Smith is in Chicago in her third year of medical school and is travelling to South Africa next year for a month, for a global health elective. Sara Hassan is completing a master’s in social work – organizing with youth who have class privilege or access to wealth in New York City – and getting back into theatre. Constantine Harmantas completed a master’s degree in global health at McMaster University and started her first year of medical school. Chantal Li is in her third year of medical school at the University of Toronto.
