Connections Beyond the Ivy Alumnae Network on New Online Platform

I n a world where technology lets us communicate with people across the globe by email, text, instant/direct messaging and social media, the Old Girls Office strives to be responsive to our alumnae communication needs. Our aim is to become more digitally literate, support a strong online brand and stay connected with our alumnae in various ways. With these goals in mind, we have launched a new online Old Girls platform called Connections. This name may ring a bell for those who read our electronic newsletter, Connections , which we send out to community members monthly. Our hope is that, as the online Connections platform user base grows, it will replace our enewsletter as the means to keep alumnae up-to-date with news from their alma mater. The Connections community is already strong and growing. If you are an Old Girl, consider signing up today! This online platform provides our alumnae with a space to interact digitally: to connect, reminisce, stay in touch, post job opportunities, become a mentor (or mentee) and/or grow your Havergal contacts.

All Old Girls are encouraged to enrol on our new online platform by visiting connections.havergal.on.ca and clicking the “Join Now” button. Users who sign up with the email address that we have saved in our database will gain immediate access to the platform. Old Girls with a new or different email address may have to wait one business day to be approved. Once you are connected, you can enjoy all that Connections has to offer as you browse through news feed posts, peruse event photos, read past issues of the Chronicle , RSVP to upcoming events and more. The greatest part about the platform is that it has all of the best features of a social media networking site without the targeted advertisements and a more sophisticated look and feel. We hope that all Old Girls sign up to be a part of this amazing online community.
