The HCC Bursary

The Havergal Community Committee (HCC) creates an important liaison between the parent body and the school. Its dedicated parent volunteers engage in a variety of important initiatives for the school, which include Celebration Saturday, the Father Daughter Dance, Used Uniform Sales, Used Textbook Sales and Horticulture. Members also volunteer as Grade Representatives and assist with the smooth running of the school’s Green & Gold Shop. Endowed in the 2008-2009 school year, the HCC Bursary provides funding for mission appropriate students who would otherwise be unable to attend Havergal. Monies from several of the activities listed above as well as from the Havergal Golf Tournament seeded this endowment. Since the establishment of this important fund, it has reached $197,000.
