KEY FINDINGS FROM THE EMPLOYEE SURVEY • 90% of faculty and staff indicate that they are a proud member of the Havergal community. • 82% of the faculty feel that they have the freedom to be innovative in the classroom. • When asked to rate their satisfaction with specific school- life elements, employees rated: campus security (96%); maintenance of facilities (90%); and access for faculty/staff to technological resources (83%) as their top three choices. • Those areas in which teachers believe the school’s contribution to student growth is most successful are critical thinking (92%) and the ability to work collaboratively (94%). KEY FINDINGS FROM THE OLD GIRLS SURVEY • 90% of Old Girls believe that Havergal is an excellent educational institution and one that they are proud to say they attended. • 85% of Old Girls were very satisfied with their student experience at Havergal. • 82% of Old Girls reported that there were faculty, staff, coaches or administrators who were a favourable influence on their Havergal student experience. • 74% reported that they were enthusiastically involved in co- curricular activities while at Havergal. • 73% of Old Girls are very satisfied with the Old Girls publication The Chronicle . results on October 12 with Social Science teacher Ina Szekely and Head of Upper School Sarah Bruce; the Board of Governors had a full presentation of the survey results with Kevin Graham from Lookout Management on September 24; faculty and staff had two presentations on the employee survey — on June 22 with Mr. Graham and on August 22 with the Principal. Old Girls survey results have been shared on the Old Girls Online Community. Mr. Graham will provide an overview of the parent survey results on December 4—invitations were sent to parents in November. We have now shared the survey results with our constituents: Upper School students had an assembly to review the student survey
