WHOLE -SCHOOL TRADI T IONS

Conclusion

The word “school” is most often used as a noun, but it is also a verb, and that fact reminds us that education is a process, as is establishing a superb educational institution. Given Havergal’s history of innovative strategic plans, passionate and talented administrators and a gracious campus conducive to learning, it is not surprising that the whole Havergal community cherishes the school’s symbols and traditions. When it comes to the education of girls and young women at Havergal, there is indeed a time and a place for everything.

The excitement of the 2015 game was captured in a local news article:

“Havergal Tops Bishop Strachan”

Havergal’s long history has provided the school with important traditions that range from the very serious to the very playful, but they all hark back to a robust past that continues to inspire the present. With strong school spirit, Havergal continues to reach for the sky.
