Bedroom Rules Ludemus, 1913

1. Savings Bank—Pupils over sixteen may have a dollar in their possession, those under 16. 25 cts.; all other money must be deposited in the Savings Bank as soon as it is received. 2. All jewelery and money must be kept in the lock box. 3. No nails or pins may be driven into the walls or furniture. 4. Framed pictures may be bung by clips from the picture moulding. No unframed pictures are allowed. 5. Photographs, etc., must not be inserted in the frame of the looking glass. 6. No trunks are allowed in rooms. 7. No handbags, valises, or boxes of any kind are to be kept in the rooms. They are to be locked in the trunk and taken to box room.

8. The position of the furniture must not be changed without permission. 9. Anything broken to be reported at once and paid for at the Bursar’s office. 10. The blind must be drawn down before the light is turned up in the rooms.

11. Every girt is expected to have (1) a boot bag, (2) a laundry bag, (3) a lock box, (4) a bed¬ room tidy. 12. All clothes to be kept in the cupboard. The wrapper and laundry bag to be hung on the door. 13. All waste paper, etc., must be put in the box in the passage. 14. Every bed must be turned down before the room is left at breakfast time, and the windows and doors thrown open. 15. The lavatories are to be used for washing the hands during the day.

16. Nothing eatable may be kept in rooms. 17. No medicine may be kept in rooms.
