Henry David Thoreau once observed that to “affect the quality of the day, that is the highest of the arts.” Those familiar with the arts at Havergal recognize the truth of that statement. As student Elizabeth Tam stated in the preceding BTI article, “[A]rt is not only created by the ‘artist,’ but also by the people who observe it.”
