French Book Summaries

Reading in French is fundamental to improving speaking ability. One of its biggest benefits, of course, is that reading can widen vocabulary. It helps to more easily absorb grammar and sentence structure. Reading also fosters one’s understanding of French culture, politics and humour. Summarizing what one has read teaches how to take a large selection of text and reduce it to the main points for more concise understanding and appreciation of the language.
