Learning a new language is learning to think in a different way. You will become acquainted with the culture and customs of your country and feel more and more like a true citizen of that country. You will learn key phrases useful in the classroom and for basic conversation. From there, you will be able to engage solely in Spanish—it may be a little at first, but it will increase as you learn to use vocabulary and structures within diverse themes, such as school, family, pastimes, vacations and shopping. Through a variety of listening, speaking, writing and reading activities, you will develop your skills and feel more comfortable applying them in a range of scenarios, from dialogues to skits in class.
