ACADEMIC LIFE

● Self-plagiarism: In an academic environment, it is the expectation that all course material students create is original work. Therefore, it is considered plagiarism when students submit assessments completed and graded for other courses. A student who would like to rework a paper submitted for another course must ask permission to do so. ● Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI): Systems capable of generating increasingly sophisticated writing are evolving continuously. Where supportive of student learning, teachers will deliberately incorporate AI into their courses. Outside of these opportunities, students are expected to refrain from using AI as a substitute for the development and sharing of their own voices, perspectives and thinking. Please refer to the current Course Calendar for more details on the procedure that is followed in cases of Academic Dishonesty. This document is updated in January of every year. Teachers will review the most current version of the academic honesty policy each school year.
