CO-CURRICULAR OPPORTUNITIES

Middle School In Middle School we run two semesters of clubs and they take place biweekly on Mondays. The participation in these clubs is mandatory, giving our students the opportunity to explore their passions or find a new one. Clubs are led by teachers and senior students. Students sign up for a club from September to January and then for a second club from January to May. Whether it's art, science, sports or debating, our clubs cater to a wide variety of interests, encouraging students to step out of their comfort zones. By engaging in these clubs, our students not only gain valuable skills and knowledge, but also foster friendships and a sense of belonging within our school community. Past offerings have included: Fun with Food, Debating, Juggling, Board Games, Art, DIY, Math, Science, Robotics and more. Upper School Participating in clubs during high school offers numerous benefits for students. With over 30 clubs available at our school, students have a wide range of opportunities to explore their interests, develop new skills and forge lasting friendships. These clubs provide a platform for students to engage in co-curricular activities that extend beyond the classroom. By joining a club, students can enhance their teamwork, leadership and time management skills. Competitive clubs like Model UN, Debate, HOSA, DECA and Robotics offer additional challenges and the chance to excel in specific areas. Clubs meet regularly during the school year at lunch, with the competitive clubs also meeting after school in order to prepare for the various competitions.

At Havergal College, we believe that every student has the capability to engage in our Athletics Program. Our program has the breadth to meet the needs of a diverse group of students and the depth to challenge students at all stages of development. Through participation in athletics, students will develop the confidence to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle beyond their time at Havergal.
