set foot in Africa for the first time, visiting Tanzania, Kenya, Ethiopia and Morocco, bringing her countries travelled to 50 in her 50th year. She recently got to see the elusive Sarah Matthews for dinner. A few of us got to see Kim Wicks Barker for a birthday brunch in Toronto in February before she headed back out to Saint John, where she is now working. Another traveller amongst us is Jo-Anne Matear , who just got back from a pretty amazing trip to Vietnam – check out her great photos on Facebook. Suzette Strong writes that 2020 will be a year focused

on making memories with lots of travel and family trips before her daughter heads off to university. Sarah Bull ’s daughter Becca is in Grade 7 at Havergal, where she notes a lot has changed at the school, but a lot remains happily the same. Her boys are good and in Grade 9 and Grade 12. She is also lamenting having the eldest off at university next year. They got a second dog to try to help with the journey to the empty nest. CLASS OF 1990 ENDOWMENT TOTAL AS AT MAY 31, 2020

CLASS REP: Laura Cuddie The Class of 1990 is very excited for our 30-Year Reunion. Due to COVID-19, Reunion Weekend has been shifted to May 29 and 30, 2021. Many have stayed closely connected. We are a highly-engaged group, balancing careers, community and family responsibilities with maintaining health and finding personal fulfilment. Eva (Winterstein) Larkan is married with three teens and works at the TDSB. Eva balances barbells at crossfit, teeters on park cliffs with a hiking group and aligns her chakras with yoga and meditation. Justine Deluce sells real estate with Chestnut Park and was honoured with the Chairman’s Award for outstanding performance. Justine is also a yogi and attends a California ashram every year. Susie Macrae is a marketing consultant in Toronto and travels often; Denmark, Ireland, Dominican Republic and Switzerland were recent adventures. Karen DeBortoli joined Buck in 2018 as director and Canadian privacy officer. Karen, her husband and son are avid travellers, and she is training for her first marathon. Katie Rennie Osler spends weekends cheering on her son at swim meets or visiting her daughter at Dalhousie, where she also catches up with Karen Schaffer . She is preparing to be an empty-nester when both kids go to camp for the entire summer. Lindsay (Thompson) Black is excited to return to school and to work in HR after raising kids for 15 years. Thank you, Lindsay, for volunteering to host our reunion celebration! Melissa Tabacoff Cavelti plays bass with Orchestra Toronto and has taken up knitting. Her two girls are

at HC; the oldest graduates this year. Naomi Buck is raising two boys, writing and wrangling a dog who has grown well beyond her wildest expectations. Heather Plaxton MacDonald plays polo and hikes with her dog to decompress. Her three teens learned to surf this year, and the family spends as much time as possible at the cottage. Tiffany Welch is VP, sales platform and technology at SAP. She enjoys camping, hiking, and cuddling with her Thai rescue pup. Giselle Jones redefined “relaxation” after having a baby at 45 while incorporating her own mindfulness mediation practice. She is filled with gratitude for her daughter and husband. Congratulations to Sarah Meharg , named a Top Woman in Defence, whose theory of warfare “identicide” is now in Wikipedia. Her family (husband and two daughters) loves to ski and enjoys winter activities around Ottawa. Leanne Finley Golding is based in the Caymans with her husband and two daughters (at Carleton and TCS). Leanne supports 100 Women in Finance and works on their mentor program, Girl Force 100. She is an avid tennis player and beach yogi. Fiona Hudson Lennard does marketing for a residential design/build firm in Seattle. She loves to camp and hike with her husband and two teens. Sian O’Malley Hahn relocated to Maine with her husband and two teens after 15 years practising law in N.Y.C. The family travels to New England for swim meets and enjoys the low-key lifestyle of Maine, including hikes with the family lab. Stephanie Palazzi Boston is in Frisco, Texas, with her husband and son. She practises taekwondo and spinning,
