“Forty years on, growing older and wiser, Memories float on the wings of a song, Times with our friends, standing shoulder to shoulder, Hearkening back to the days we were young.” Doesn’t it feel like yesterday that we were singing that song together and thinking that’s a long way off? Well, we’ve arrived, and Sandi and I are hoping we get a great turnout at our Reunion to celebrate! This year, we asked how you relax, find fulfillment or decompress. Thank you for sharing. Dini Byers Coen enjoys life with her husband Mike and their daughters, Gillian in Halifax and Alex in Mississauga. Dini celebrated 35 years working at Canada Life in Toronto. She enjoys playing piano and singing and had fun travelling down memory lane with the Old Girls choir at the celebration of life for Marcelle De Freitas. Giselle Cole visited family and friends in Ireland, the U.S., Mexico, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Quebec and Trinidad. She planned to meet friends from the Netherlands in Vegas this summer and then to Victoria to catch up with more friends. Next spring, she plans to play “mas” for the Trinidad and Tobago Carnival. Her Mom has been battling cancer with unwavering spirits. Sadly, Adrian Elliott succumbed to cancer on May 14. Adrian never missed an opportunity to create a fun and cheerful environment for those around her, Adrian’s annual street tea party being just one of many examples. Her life’s work was to create happiness for her two daughters. Jennifer (Jenny) Normand Wilmer and her husband Fergus are spending more time in Thailand and less in Hong Kong as they ease into semi-retirement. She plays tennis, sails, swims and hikes to relax. Her daughter Morgan works in H.K., and her son Cam is completing his engineering degree in San Diego. When Morgan visits, the highlight is riding on the beach, followed by a swim. She is back in Canada each summer to see family and her Mom, who is 96 now! Heather Ritchie Walton is moving home after 20 years in Dallas, TX. She has volunteered with the community food bank for 20 years and hopes to continue this work in Toronto. She loves golfing and skiing. Her eldest daughter Courtney is a doctor, her son Connor will graduate from law school in May, and her youngest is at the University of South
