Her daughter Alannah will finally tie the knot in October 2021 in Nova Scotia after 10 years with her man and two children. Jennifer Tory received the Order of Canada in December for her commitment to advancing women and minorities in the banking industry and her extensive community work. She retired from the Royal Bank in December. Her daughter Dr. Elizabeth Mingay 2003 was married last August, and her other daughter Dr. Alex Mingay 2008 is getting married this year. Catherine (Cathy) Robinson Clark ’s two sons followed through with their weddings last summer. Her older son Michael, an urban planner, married Elanna Foster, a piano teacher. Her younger son Graham, a management consultant, married Lesley Tulipano, who’s with Junior Achievement. Vivian Blechingberg Sichel has worked at the Tampa hospital for 13 years, taking care of the Spanish community’s needs. Her 96-year-old Mom has been living with her for two years. Her daughter Annelisa was voted one of the top women in public relations. Her sons Michael and Dennis and husband Steve are doing well.

Class of 1974 classmates Judy Davidson Whitehead and Alannah Campbell Kearns arrived in time to join their class for their 45th Reunion dinner.

Kelly Scott is retiring in June after working in early years education in various forms since forever! Her bucket list includes training to be a preemie nurturer in a NICU; volunteering with the Ontario Archeologist society, Food for Life, the Santa Claus fund and dog walking for the humane society; as well as swimming, yoga, biking and

CLASS REPS: Edwina Dick Stoate and Erica Benson Travel, family weddings and grandchildren seem to be our common themes this year, with hopes that plans are not unduly impacted by the multiple crises gripping our world these days. Anne Jarrett Vernon and her husband Rick are enjoying life in Paris, Ontario and awaiting their first grandchild this September. Lani Schmidt Lorenz had a great lunch last fall with Anne Fraser Hinton 1971 and Sarah Fraser . Lani is trying to cut back on work to accommodate more travelling, including a big trip to Scotland and England, and more time with her grandsons. Judith Floras Rance ’s daughter was married last summer – congratulations. Jennifer Stutz Flexton is still living in a picturesque English village with a new puppy and flowers worthy of a garden show. She and her family travel to Naples each winter to

enjoy the beach and golf. Margot Daly Baker loves her life as a “travelling fool.” Recent destinations include Botswana, Namibia, South Africa, Sardinia, Malta and Crete. Edwina Dick Stoate is trying to catch up to Margot’s list of destinations as she plans to visit Morocco, the seven Balkan countries in the former Yugoslavia, Bulgaria and Albania this year. Edwina also is thankful to Miss De Freitas, who taught her to sew more than 50 years ago; she loves to spend time making clothes for her granddaughter. Several of us attended the wonderful memorial service for Miss De Freitas at the school last fall, including a few classmates who sang in the Old Girls’ choir. Barbara Gray is retired and waiting for her husband to do the same so they can do more hiking and biking in the summer and Nordic skiing and curling in the
