CLASS REP: Márta Ecsedi Kathy Anderson had her right knee replaced in September 2017. In March, while skiing, she tore the medial collateral ligament (MCL) of the same knee before leaving on a Caribbean cruise the next day. In February 2019, she fractured her tibia plateau while skiing in Italy. The full leg brace and crutches did not prevent her from going to New Orleans and on a cruise to Belize in April to celebrate turning 65 with Jennifer Powell Coulter . In October 2019, her other knee was replaced in time to go to Mexico in January and skiing in Switzerland in March. Barbara (Barb) Baines reports that she is retired and happy and got married in October to a wonderful lady. Nancy Goodwin Berry and Andre enjoyed a trip of a lifetime to Australia and New Zealand. William Lake received $25K in federal funding to renovate our log community hall. Scott joined the Canadian Armed Forces. Adelle received her diploma in youth counselling and is now upgrading her art courses. Harriet Peckham Binkley reports that both Andrew and Clarissa are working in California for Canadian firms. Diane (Di) Crawford Gregg still works with her husband in their travel agency in Burlington. Di took a trip out to Vancouver in November to re-connect with Judy Fletcher Ray – a wonderful reunion! Louise Park McMillan has a new granddaughter. Her third daughter gets married in June 2021 and she writes: “I do think I’m having a Jane Austen/ Mrs. Bennet epiphany as ‘it is universally accepted that’ marrying off three daughters in three years is quite a coup.” Nancy Alexander Stewart had a busy and fun year. She took on a full-time learning and development project with

CIBC for the first six months. She spent more time at their cottage on Lake Huron over the summer. Her son Fraser married his sweetheart of 12 years. In the fall, she took a wonderful trip to France and travelled with her daughter Emily to Switzerland, Barcelona, Porto and London. Sharon Davis Tanner ’s busy year kicked off with total ankle replacement surgery. Her son James was married in Florence. Her oldest daughter Stephanie became engaged on the Amalfi Coast portion of her trip. She and David were looking forward to a trip to New Orleans in May. Márta Ecsedi ’s news: I am very involved in climate change initiatives and a few volunteer committees. John is enjoying retirement and is a huge help when I’m too busy to shop or do stuff around the house. We are enjoying our grandchildren, Darren (11) and Ian (8), taking them bowling and to movies. Their mother, Laura, was promoted to VP Operations, and Jeff is still enjoying being a grade eight teacher. They went on a family trip to N.Y.C. for Laura’s 40th. Eric got his automotive technician’s license and moved to BMW from a small shop. He moved out two years ago; we are empty nesters now. Please mark your calendars for our 50th Reunion in 2022.
