CLASS OF 1951 ENDOWMENT FOR ARCHIVES TOTAL AS AT MAY 31, 2020

CLASS REPS: Heather McPherson Ballon and Jean Martin Lawrence Margaret (Marg) Fitch Szücs deserves a medal for her many years of dedicated service to our class news. Heather McPherson Ballon and Jean Martin Lawrence , with Marg’s help and trying to follow her example, reached out to classmates and received the following news. Joan Taylor Atkin , having sold her home in Florida, is enjoying many activities in Bracebridge. Elisabeth Marani Bacque is staying with her daughter this winter and is still painting. Margaret (Marg) Ainslie Tuer continues teaching children at her church. Anne Mackersey Hull is recovering from a broken hip, but recently managed to get to the symphony by subway! Mary Uren Dame shares her home with two sons and is still active in church work. Claire Applegath Keith Larsen and her husband are at their retirement home in Melbourne, Florida. Mary Crawford Lloyd is living in Grand Bend, enjoying family visits!

Elizabeth (Liz) OgdenMeyers recently spent threeweeks in Florida with her daughter. Katherine (Kittie) Samis is living independently and still drives. Wendy Wright ’s recorded phone message was entirely in French! Marjorie Cowan Fish sings with her condo choir in Markham. Adrianne Armour Taylor cruised in the Caribbean with her daughter. She plays duplicate bridge and golf. Joan Kalthoff Burt went to Mexico in the winter and is enjoying social life in Creemore. Sadly, Mary Burbidge Helleiner passed away in March. Before she died, she sold two of her paintings in a local show. Heather and Jean had great fun putting this news together and look forward to having our 70th Reunion next year.

GAY SELLERS KROEGER 1952 BURSARY TOTAL AS AT MAY 31, 2020

CLASS REPS: Joan Rudolf McKinney and Susan Watson Nelson Shirley Millar sends greetings from Florida. She welcomed a friend from Switzerland at Christmas, who had worked with her in the 1950s. Ann Stark Wallace , who was a physio and occupational therapist, married a Canadian Signal Corps Army Officer.

They had a wonderful life travelling in many countries as part of NATO and Canadian defence members. She now lives in Kelowna, B.C. and is a keen bridge player. Doreen Seigman Murray played in the provincial pickleball championships last year, winning silver in 65+ mixed doubles and bronze in 65+ ladies doubles. She has travelled to Iceland and the Panama Canal, and she loves her
