CLASS OF 2019 ENDOWMENT TOTAL AS AT MAY 31, 2020

CLASS REPS: Quinn Danniels, Ana Langford and Catherine Thomas The Class of 2019 has been engaging themselves in their first year beyond the life of Havergal. Kyla Leong Poi busied herself with the dance and a cappella scene at the University of Waterloo. She took part in the UW Hip Hop drop, UW Performance Team, “Ace,” and placed 4th in the International Championship of Collegiate Acapella Competition with “The Water Boys.” Ally Hutchison is enjoying her first year at Sheridan College for the musical theatre program. When Ally is not busy with schoolwork during the week, she often travels to the city on the weekends to attend various auditions. Sophie Cooke loved her first year at Queen’s in the concurrent education program. She is planning to major in global development studies, a passion that sparked at Havergal, and is excited for all the opportunities to come. Julianna Botros has been committed to completing her training to qualify as a Kids Help Phone crisis responder. As well, when she is not busy with schoolwork at McMaster University, she spends her free time running swimming

lessons with adults with physical and intellectual disabilities. Victoria Robertson is an editor on the George Washington University undergraduate law review and has declared her specialization in security policy under her international affairs degree. Victoria planned to be interning in the marketing department of Goodmans law firm this summer. Quinn Danniels spent her first year at university busy on the Ryerson fastpitch softball team and with her competitive powerlifting. She was proud to be a rookie on the fastpitch team, which came first in its division. Quinn also competed in the provincial powerlifting championships in the fall, achieving a gold medal and breaking all four provincial records. She has just started a new job at Sportsnet as she pursues a career in sports broadcasting. Along with being on the club swim team and student assembly at Dartmouth College, Gerol Fang has been doing research on predictive analytics for hospital readmission at the Geisel Medical School. She hopes to become involved in a research project on Arctic Indigenous Peoples Health next term.
