CLASS OF 2013 BURSARY TOTAL AS AT MAY 31, 2020

CLASS REPS: Jamie Albaum, Rebecca Hoffer and Lauren Sanders This past year, Alison Chang was in one of Vancouver’s best-performing immersive theatre shows, called Deep Into Darkness, and also booked and shot her first network TV gig. Filomena Harmantas is attending her second year of law school at the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Law. Shannon Dowling has been living in San Diego, working as a software engineer and pursuing extreme sports. She has completed 350 skydives and recently started learning how to fly a wingsuit. Katarina Cheley is currently finishing her diploma for UI UX design and hopes to move to New York in the next year or so. Jamie Albaum lives in Washington, D.C., where she works as the development manager at a pro bono human rights law firm. She works directly with the State Department and other foreign ministries worldwide on business development opportunities in transitional justice and peace negotiations in post conflict countries. At the moment, she is developing projects in Bangladesh, South Sudan, Iraq and Libya.

Savannah Richardson started a new job in new student transition at UWaterloo, adopted a puppy and bought a house with her partner. Sydney Lau completed her MS in human genetics and is working as a genetic counsellor in New York City. Sierra Bokor is in her first year of a master’s of science in occupational therapy at the University of Toronto. Lexi Ensor lives in Toronto and works at a consulting firm in public affairs and management consulting. She’s been heavily involved with the Liberal party and will be beginning her first term as chair of the HOGA Governance Committee in the coming months. Ellen Ferris finished her master’s in urban and regional planning at U of T last spring and is working as a land use planner at a firm called MHBC. Annie Rueter graduated from the University of British Columbia’s graduate school of journalism last May and is now working in Vancouver as a podcast producer at a company called Pacific Content. Kate Dotsikas graduated in September 2019 from her MSc in population health at University College London in the U.K. She now works in London at UCL’s division of psychiatry as a National Institute of Health Research pre-doctoral fellow.
