CLASS OF 2005 BURSARY TOTAL AS AT MAY 31, 2020

CLASS REPS: Charlotte Anderson, Victoria Duda, Leslie Greey and Megan Rolland It has been 15 years since Shonda Rhimes created the hit TV series Grey’s Anatomy ; newcomers Adam Levine and Maroon 5 beat out Kanye West for best new artist at the Grammy’s; Martha Stewart served her time for insider trading and was released from prison; happily married Brad Pritt filmed Mr. and Mrs. Smith, and a nation was divided between Team Angelina and Team Jen; Tom Cruise jumped on Oprah Winfrey’s couch like it was a trampoline, proclaiming his love for Katie Holmes; Gwen Stefani taught us all that we ain’t no hollaback girls; the Havergal principal with iconic shoes slipped and fell and altered the entrance procedures for the rest of time; the first video was uploaded to YouTube and road trips changed forever with the development of Google Maps. It has also been 15 years since an awesome group of ladies hung up their kilts, pushed down their knee socks, untucked their shirts, loosened their ties and stepped out from behind the ivy. Come celebrate our fifteen-year reunion and catch up with your classmates living on five continents and spread CLASS REPS: Sarah Bacon Bush, Laura Cheung and Margaret Flatley Sarah Bacon Bush and her husband Griffin (Crescent ‘06) are enjoying life with their busy toddler, Wesley, born in July 2018. Sarah is looking forward to graduating from her psychiatry residency at the University of Toronto this year and to starting a job in medical psychiatry at UHN. Brittany Best Garverick is living with her family in a suburb of Chicago, where she is opening a private practice offering psychological services, including psychological evaluations, individual and family therapy and mental performance training for athletes. Her son Sam is now two-and-a-half. Laura Cheung accepted a partnership at the family medicine practice where she completed her training. She and her husband bought their first home in October. across every corner of the globe. We had a record turnout for our ten-year reunion, and we hope to see even more of you for our 15th Reunion this fall. New jobs, new cities, new degrees, new marriages and new babies – this group has accomplished a lot since our last reunion. We have a lot to be proud of and times to reminisce about, so join us on Saturday, May 29, 2021 for Reunion Weekend. CLASS OF 2006 ENDOWMENT FOR GLOBAL OUTREACH TOTAL AS AT MAY 31, 2020

Findlay is completing her nursing practitioner master’s at McMaster. She continues to work as a registered nurse at the Sunnybrook family health team and feels lucky to be able to work while in grad school. Also, huge congrats to Dale for finishing first place in the Toronto Marathon in May 2019! Alex Latta married Owen Brown (RSGC ’06) in Toronto on May 9th, 2020. Owen’s mother Patti Belton Brown 1976, grandmother Josephine Belton 1936 and both of his sisters, Alex Brown 2002 and Randall Brown 2004, graduated from Havergal. Jennifer Latta 2004, Jamie McGregor and Whitney Bloom were bridesmaids. On the East Coast, Claire Halstead married Kyle Hartlen on August 3rd, 2019, in the Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia.
