CLASS OF 2002 BURSARY TOTAL AS AT MAY 31, 2020

CLASS REPS: Caitlin Peddie Stark and Sarah Rea Internationally, Jen Sceviour has enjoyed taking her business, Yoga 44, to Costa Rica, Mexico and Muskoka. A 2019 highlight was teaching yoga to 50 people from the deck of a wakeboard boat in Port Carling. In Germany, Carmen Gayoso is expecting a second daughter and looking forward to returning to Toronto in 2021 and reconnecting with the Havergal community. In the San Francisco Bay Area, Samantha Irwin has set a new athletic goal for 2020: to win the club championship at her local golf course. Wish her luck! Heena Patel now lives a bicoastal life between the Bay Area and New York, working toward her mission to increase the presence of South Asian music, dance and theatre in the mainstream performing arts industry. In Vancouver, Suzanne Ma returned from maternity leave to rejoin her husband and their team at Routific, a tech company that builds route optimization software used by hundreds of local delivery businesses around the world. Jenna Shelley moved to the west coast with her husband Thomas Crerar, and they are expecting their first child. In Hamilton, Brooke Butler is growing her interior design business, Brooke Butler Design. In Toronto, Courtney Ashton is taking time away from the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board while caring for her three children. Natalie (Nat) Reisman Breger has joined her father in residential real estate development with a focus on building new apartment buildings with affordable units; now, the boss doesn’t object when she occasionally brings her three kids to work! Deborah (Deb) Gollob is completing a master’s of health science in health administration at the University of Toronto and has joined The Change Foundation to work with patients, family caregivers and health providers to advance an integrated Ontario health care system. Jenn Hood started a new role as associate general counsel at the advertising technology company Index Exchange Inc. Sarah Rea has joined the volunteer-led TEDxToronto 2020 organizing team, and she encourages HC alumnae to apply to speak at, volunteer at, sponsor and attend the inspiring non-profit event. Kirstin Rydahl was appointed interim acting chief administrative officer for the Ontario government’s Treasury

Board Secretariat. Nicole (Niki) Tapscott has joined Mejuri as chief marketing officer, and she enjoys life in the city with her husband, daughter and son. Nina Mafrici Mariani ’s psychology practice, Toronto Psychology & Wellness Group, has begun a collaboration with other allied health professionals to offer a subsidized intensive day treatment for adolescents and adults struggling with eating disorders. Alex Bittner Howard lives in Toronto with her husband and two kids. She recently went back to school for mediation and is now consulting for small businesses on dispute resolution. Allison Freeman had fun this winter teaching her kids, Graydon and Celeste, how to ski.
