CLASS OF 1987 ENDOWMENT TOTAL AS AT MAY 31, 2019

CLASS REPS: Martha Hart McDougall and Tralee Pearce Greetings, Class of 1987! We hope this update finds you well. Thank you to everyone who sent their info. Here’s the latest: Wedding bells will be ringing! Candy McCutcheon Dinnick will soon be Candy Latimer! Candy will be getting married in the fall to Michael Latimer; they will have a blended family of five. Congrats also to Beth Graham Burrows , who is engaged to Scott Barton and is continuing her studies in thanatology at Western to support her work in hospice and grief counselling. On the international scene, Jen Hakes lives in Santiago, Chile, where her husband was transferred. Kelly Eide is still based in Dubai and runs Equus Coaching – partnering with horses to help humans explore leadership, communication, culture-building and creativity. Her parents have moved back to Arizona, so she plans to travel to North America more frequently. Contact her at kelly@trueyoume.com. Sarah Innes and her family relocated to Singapore in August 2018. She is enjoying the experience of living in such a wonderful city with fabulous travel opportunities. Her younger two children attend Singapore American School, and her eldest will start at Boston University in 2019. They welcome visitors! Alizeh Fancy lives in Vancouver and has finished building her own house. She is a married mom to daughter Aliya, 15, and son Kamran, 8. Recently, she left graphic design and returned to school to pursue her passion for interior design. Please contact her if you are visiting the area! Tracy McMenemy is also in Vancouver with her twins Owen and Sophie, 16, and her husband of 26 years, Tim. Tracy is a multi-disciplinary artist working with museums and galleries, bridging painting, photography, sculpture and installation. Her show has gained national attention! Pam Lipson lives in Montreal and enjoys working in translation. She choreographed a school play – an adaptation of The Greatest Showman – in which her kids,

Sophia, 12, and Benjamin, 10, performed. Back in Ontario, Christine Harrison Hall admits that life feels spacious with her son Connor starting at Western and her daughter Kate, 16, now a teenager. Christine has started a new role in sales and client development at Box of Crayons. Nicole Beckmann Swales still loves working at Mawer. Her son Nikolas is starting university; her daughter Alexa is an avid synchro swimmer, and her son Lukas is busy with basketball. Jen Ross loves working at Queen’s, leading a campus well-being project for students, staff and faculty. Her daughter Harper, 13, plays hockey. She keeps in touch with Vic Tait , who visited last summer. They all enjoyed kayaking in the Thousand Islands – Melanie Warrington Henderson lives two streets away from Jen, almost exactly like high school! Jenn Butters Elder , mom to daughters Nicole and Brooke, enjoys her work on the KCS Board of Governors in Toronto. Her editing business remains fulfilling, and she has a new venture as a Canadian distributor of PK Grills. As for your class reps, Tralee Pearce works with her step-mom at In The Hills magazine and enjoys weekends at her family farm and skiing at Mansfield with hubby and son, 9. Martha Hart McDougall has built a home in London beside Boler Mountain Ski Club and looks forward to swimming in her new pool! She left full-time teaching for occasional teaching in the Thames Valley School Board. The move allows her more time with her Wheaton terrier Bentley, twins Molly and Peter and daughter Heather.
