CLASS OF 1981 CO-CURRICULAR FUND TOTAL AS AT MAY 31, 2019

CLASS REPS: Mary Metcalf Muir and Kathie Morris Wood Tracy Wrong had dinner with Christine Lay and Fiona Main and started a new job in patient relations and medical affairs at the Ottawa Hospital. All three of her children are working. Once they have flown the coop, the plan is to finish the renos, sell the house and downsize. Judy Baggaley Savage ’s daughter Kailey was married in August. Joining the celebration were Tracy Wrong, Fiona Main , Karen Gill and Cathy Paterson McLean . Judy pedalled from Prague to Vienna and celebrated 17 years as president and CEO of Lions Gate Hospital Foundation, where she wrapped up a $100M Capital campaign. She took her girls on a yoga retreat to decompress. Linda Frum will receive an honorary degree from Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Her daughter Ellie has been accepted to Havergal’s Class of 2021. Nannette Mady De Gaspe Beaubien ’s sons are at NYU. Phillippe will graduate this year. Her beauty brand NANNETTE de GASPE launched a full skin care range, Art of Noir, sold in department stores worldwide. Leslie Dennis ’s daughter Syd is in second-year law, and her son Adam will graduate from Ivey in the spring. Life is good! Kimberly Cooper , in her words, has had a wicked year. Her daughter Morgan gave birth to a baby boy on August 3rd, 2018 and then she lost her parents two months apart (in September and November). Visits out west to see her daughters help soothe her aching heart. Kimberly continues to work in dentistry and stays active. Elizabeth Lancaster still lives in Prince Edward County, running Blue Dot Strategy with her husband, and is very involved in meditation. She looks forward to attending a summer silent retreat in New Mexico. Amy Vanderburgh connected with Judy Baggaley Savage, Karen Gill, Fiona Main and Jane Watford last summer. It was a busy summer with the marriage of her daughter Ashley. Jane Watford did a beautiful reading at the ceremony. Shelley McPherson still lives in New York City with her husband, Jeff. She teaches yoga and meditation and works in theatre. Mary Metcalf Muir has both children living at home. Kit is studying holistic and spiritual training

and Jennie is doing a PR program at Humber. Mary is still busy with MaryPopsIn and has had six successful years of running James’ Journey, which raises awareness and funds for mental health. Kathie Morris Wood continues to practise residential and commercial real estate. She serves as a director on the board of the Greater Toronto Hockey League and works with Me to We to raise money for one of the villages they support in Africa. Margot Potter Willoughby left Havergal for Acadia and then Queen’s, got her bachelor’s degree and a job at Bank of Montreal before obtaining a master’s degree at the London School of Economics, followed by jobs in HR at TD. She and her husband have been similarly peripatetic, spending many years in London and New York; they are now happily close to home. She is on the boards of two tennis clubs (when not indulging her passion for the sport on the court) and the York Club, acquired a farm in Uxbridge and has undertaken an ambitious restoration and renovation.
