and dynamic group! Toni Addison Dixon has contributed greatly to the equestrian community and has moved from competing in English disciplines to barrel racing. She has made great strides in her leadership roles with the Canadian Professional Rodeo Association as well as setting new records in her competing categories. Toni is also enjoying her new granddaughter. Devon Codesmith is still teaching kindergarten in New Westminster, B.C. but retirement is on the horizon. She is hoping to enjoy some bicycle tours in Europe with her husband David this summer. Kirsty Stevenson met Brenda Morrow Barry while skiing a few years ago and they kept in touch. It was such a treat to see an old Havergal doll at our luncheon, courtesy of Kirsty’s efforts. Theresa Sherwood Karakatsanis was meeting up with Stephanie Hunt in Victoria and Tofino in September. Regrettably, they missed our reunion but were with us in spirit. Stephanie is still working as a freelance journalist in Vancouver. Jody MacDonald keeps in touch with Dianne Charlton Murphy . There are a few artists in our midst! Benita Tafel Sennecke was so delighted to catch up with Tessa Lutley Nicholson in London, England in October. Ariane Sapper Sandven is living in Oslo and also keeps in touch with Benita. Great news about Barb Crow : she is now the dean of Arts and Science at Queen’s University. Jacqueline Koerner

graduated with her PhD in Geography from UBC. This was a really inspiring journey that led to fieldwork in Bangladesh with the world’s largest NGO, BRAC. During a segment of attaining her degree, all of her four children were in university with her! Jacqueline is now looking forward to planning her next steps. Jane Matthews Mulvihill made great efforts to join us at the reunion, travelling all the way from her new home in France, battling airline logistics just to make sure she made it! Cathy Mabee Poole hosted a lovely dinner party; among those that attended were Jodi Niblett and Alison Brenzel . Brenda Morrow Barry ’s husband David is enjoying retirement 2.0 after retiring, returning to work and then retiring again in September 2018. They are celebrating their 35th wedding anniversary (October 2018) and their 60th birthdays with trips to the Bahamas with their family, Fiji and France! Brenda is hoping to meet up with Cathy Rusby for dinner when they are in Napier and Stephanie Hunt while in Sydney. Brenda is also enjoying her time as a grandmother to Connor and Liam.
