Gay Sellers Kroeger 1952 was the first woman to be posted to Canada’s permanent mission of the United Nations. Elected by the 108-member Economic Committee, which dealt with world economic development, trade and assistance, she delivered that committee’s report to the plenary session of the General Assembly. Gay’s career in the diplomatic service and her representation of Canada on the world stage are all the more remarkable because she was only 27 years old at the time. She passed away in 1979.

Dasha Peregoudova 2006 has seen great success in the world of sport. She has earned many awards and honours for competing at an international level in taekwondo, including being a two-time Pan Am Champion in 2006 and 2008. After her admission to the bar in 2017, she joined Gardiner Roberts LLP as an associate lawyer. She continues to work with a number of sports and arts organizations, with a focus on governance and advocating for athlete rights.

Lana Ogilvie 1986 was the first ethnic model to sign a multi-year contract with CoverGirl. Lana has seen great success in the industry – both in print and on the runway. She recently trained as a fine- jewelry designer and has created her own jewelry line: Sabre. Her eponymous line of natural skincare – Lana Ogilvie Cosmetics – will launch in 2019.

Christiane Lemieux 1988 is a design entrepreneur. She is the founder and CEO of The Inside and extended her licensed lifestyle brand Lemieux Et Cie at Maison & Objet. Before starting her companies, Christiane was the founder of DwellStudio, which was purchased by Wayfair in 2013. She served as the executive creative director of Wayfair until 2016 and is also an accomplished author. She was named one of Fortune ’s Most Powerful Women Entrepreneurs in 2012. She is a graduate of Parsons School of Design and Queen’s University.
