Oak Centre, Andrea Poile challenged herself to a one- month-long silent retreat in March. Michelle Lam works as a VP in global metals counterparty credit at TD Securities, where she manages the leasing, derivative and depository needs of a portfolio of metals clients. Outside of work, Michelle loves to golf and cook up new recipes! After completing a master’s in public health and a year of working in state policy and health economics consulting, Linda Chyr has started a PhD program in health policy and management at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. As for your class reps, Alex Rolland is still living in England and loved having some Old Girls visit her this year! She recently started a new job as policy lead at Frontline AIDS. Carolyn Gooderham , alongside Lisa Flanagan , learned the basics of culinary arts at George Brown. She continues to enjoy working at SickKids, now in a new role managing websites and social media. Andaleeb Shariff has moved with her boyfriend to upstate New York, where she is building her first solo practice as a family physician. She enjoys cooking, yoga and spending time with their new puppy, Rua.

York City, completing a master’s in clinical psychology in education at Columbia University. She is the founder of The Get Together Inc., a festival for those who identify as women to share knowledge, skills and passions through “wisdomsharing.” Some of our classmates are leaving the Big Apple; Courtney Potts is completing her residency training as a family physician and is looking forward to moving back to Toronto, and Sarah Spear has completed her MBA at Columbia Business School. She also welcomed her first baby boy in May! Allie Wise is also making a big move; after completing her residency in pediatrics this summer, she will be moving to Boston to work as a hospitalist for the Boston Children’s PICU. She is engaged, as is Caleigh Smith . We would also like to congratulate Shirley Poon for securing a spot in the University of Toronto family medicine residency program as well as Francine Lopez , who is completing her final year of dental school and is travelling to remote towns in Australia to provide dental care for those in need. Caroline Reiss is happily entering her third summer running Compass Rose, a bed and breakfast in Prince Edward County. In her spare time, she plays viola with two orchestras and a quartet. While her day-to-day routine consists of coaching and counselling teens and young adults as well as directing the executive function support program at Toronto’s Red CLASS REPS: Caitlin Collis, Elizabeth McNeil and Jessica Mealia Stephanie Miller graduated from the MBA program at Ivey Business School in April 2018 and is now working at RBC in commercial banking, specializing in media and entertainment. She married William Pringle on August 11, 2018. When not giving Elizabeth McNeil reading recommendations en français , Emily Macrae works in urban energy policy. She’ll be leading walking tours of Toronto public libraries with Heritage Toronto this summer. This year, Emma Romano was called to the Bar of Ontario, got a job at a new firm practicing media law – she works for journalists and news outlets in matters of freedom of expression, access to information and defamation CLASS OF 2009

matters – and got engaged. Most importantly, she learned to tap dance for her role as housekeeper/monkey #2/ wedding guest in Nightwood Theatre’s production of The Drowsy Chaperone . In the year ahead, Emma looks forward to continuing to be gainfully employed doing a neato job, getting married and being a triple-threat in Nightwood Theatre’s production of Mamma Mia ! Elizabeth McNeil recently started a new job in client services at LoyaltyOne and finally has unpacked her apartment after moving in four years ago. When you read this, she will just be returning from a trip through India and will be missing the food.
