CLASS OF 1985 BURSARY TOTAL AS AT MAY 31, 2018

CLASS REPS: Gina Ogilvie, Cathy Wright Southey and Louise Stevenson The Class of 1985 continues to thrive! Deanne Maw Counter caught up with Karen Finley Kelly , Elizabeth Kan , Holly Furness Allardyce , Kate McCowan Bahen and Cathy Catto McKeever over dinner in Toronto. The crewwas all smiles! Maxx Roth Finkelstein is performing in musicals in the Greater Toronto region. Stephanie Phelps and Paula Locke Strezos managed to take a ski vacation in B.C. Allison Millar van Gruen is creating spectacular art in Whistler. Sandra Hooper Heldman managed to snap a photo with our Prime Minister during his most recent trip to the Stock Exchange! Keep an eye out for Carol Ann Ruscica ’s fantastic knitting. Nancy Bell has been using her ski coaching skills for some little ones. Sarah Sharpe Renzoni is often seen on different ski hills in B.C., watching her daughter whip down the hill! Susie Osler is creating her pottery in eastern Ontario. Courtney Colman is in California hiking the hills and working as a CFO. Janet Stephenson is at Royal St. George’s College. Karen Munro owns the Bowen Island Dog Ranch – so popular that many have to use Havergal connections to get their dogs a spot! Elizabeth Henry Walford is a busy ski mom and often posts from hills in Ontario! Nancy Barker Smith is in Halifax and would love to see any visitors to the East Coast. Heather Corcoran is providing strategic leadership consulting in San Francisco. Cheri Grogan is providing outstanding educational leadership to St. Mildred’s School. Carolyn Hunter Kirkwood is busy with a consulting practice on the West Coast. Mary Claire Murphy has a very active family practice in Toronto, and Lisa Boxall Buchan is now a confirmed cross-country skier! Heather Palmer is highly sought after for providing guidance regarding the care of elderly across Canada. Jillian Shortt was recognized by Best Lawyers in Canada as one of Canada’s

leading lawyers in the area of real estate law! Michelle Mehra Shouldice is a busy pediatrician at Sick Kids Hospital. Katie Benson Patten went on a diving adventure in Mexico. Carrie Russell is leading a new venture in FinTech. Gina Ogilvie and Sarah Endicott Wellings watched Jen Catalano ’s son play in his all-star baseball game under the evening sun in Vancouver. Janis Macdonald is busy with her children at ski hills, university and cottage parties. Kate McCowan Bahen ventured to India. Caroline Felstiner enjoys her time scuba diving and providing family mediation. Cathy Milne has bought a floating cottage (aka boat) and looks forward to cruising Ontario. Gab Lanzarini Naylor is enjoying life as an empty nester, venturing to Europe for adventures. Both of Lindsay McDonald Hyland ’s girls are in Canada, with one at UBC and one at Lakefield. Cathy Johnston got married this summer. Several 1985 grads had dinner with Sarah Teasdale , who was in Toronto with her son’s team. Wendy Lloyd McVey is living in the Beaches and enjoying life. Alexandra (Alix) Maclean is still adventuring and visiting with family near and far. Melissa Ruth has a new puppy. Holly Furness Allardyce is trying to keep up with her twins, who are now taller than her! Tibbie Richardson McCall is now the proud mom of a recently minted CPA!
