I AM LIMITLESS

For the filming of our new video I Am Limitless, several Old Girls returned to Havergal this spring to support the Limitless Campaign in an on-camera interview. The opportunity was a chance to reflect on the timeless connections and priceless opportunities that they experienced at the school and for those travelling from abroad, their return to the school was a welcomed reunion.

Acclaimed Los Angeles-based Director and Photographer Indrani Pal-Chaudhuri 1991 took time out of her busy schedule promoting her latest film to stop by Havergal for her interview and fondly reminisce about her time at the school. Also visiting from the West Coast, Chief of Staff at Intel Corp. Delia Grenville 1984 had not been back to Havergal since graduating. She took the rare opportunity to walk down memory lane by way of a school tour, sharing some of her favourite memories from her time within the ivy walls while exploring new changes on campus and enjoying some things that have remained the same from when she was a student. Toronto resident and former parent Jennifer Tory 1974 generously took time from her role as the Chief Administrative Officer at Royal Bank of Canada to share her passion for and speak about the importance of girls’ education at an early-morning filming session. For CTV News Health Reporter Pauline Chan 1983 and Board of Governors Chair and Law Professor Martha E. Simmons 1999, participating in the video was an exciting opportunity to not only showcase their support for the school as parents, but also proudly share their Havergal experience with their daughters, who are current students. Founder and Creative Director of Tanya Taylor Designs Tanya Taylor 2003 was eager to contribute to the campaign and express her thoughts, offering to host the interview on-location at her fashion studio in New York City. The Former Premier of Bermuda the Honorable Paula Cox 1976 also filmed her interview in Manhattan while she was in town to speak at a global forum, explaining “we should be able to give back, whether it’s financially, by supporting or telling the story of Havergal.”

“I hope the things I learned and gained, my daughter will be able to enjoy as well,” says Pauline Chan.
