Emily Matthews is completing her master’s in environmental policy at Cambridge. Alyssa Muzyk is living in London and working for a charity organization that aims

to address educational inequalities in the U.K. Yasmin Alameddine works in Toronto in the Partner Operations division of Shopify. In her free time, she hosts her own podcast, Witty: Women in Tech Talk to Yaz and volunteers as an English teacher for Syrian refugees. Lindsay Newman is currently attending her first year at theMichael DeGroote School of Medicine at McMaster University.

CLASS OF 2013 BURSARY TOTAL AS AT MAY 31, 2018

CLASS REPS: Jamie Albaum, Rebecca Hoffer and Lauren Sanders Savannah Richardson has been heavily involved in the University of Waterloo’s student union, the Federation of Students. Starting in May, she will be one of four student executives who will run the organization! Her role of V-P student life oversees the student services, clubs, societies and special events run by the Federation of Students. Savannah is really excited to continue working with students. She is also still singing in choirs! Kate Dotsikas graduated with High Distinction from the University of Toronto in 2017 and has since been working in Greece on European refugee health projects. She is looking forward to starting her M.Sc. in population health at University College London this September. Margo Macdonald graduated from the Ivey Business School at Western University in June 2017. She is now working on the asset management team at Realstar Management, a real estate firm based in Toronto. Alexandra Lee graduated from the Ivey Business School with Dean’s Honor in June 2017. After graduating, she spent

six weeks in Europe visiting 11 cities in seven countries. She started her full-time job at Accenture in their Toronto Strategy Practice and moved into a downtown condo with three friends. Alex looks forward to another great year! Lauren Sanders graduated with First Class Honours from the commerce program at Queen’s University in May 2017. She then travelled across Europe for three months, visiting 15 cities in five countries. In September, Lauren joined Bell Canada’s graduate leadership program, where she rotates through different business units within consumer markets and media. She is currently rotating on the pricing team. Lauren continues to volunteer with Sunnybrook Hospital, now raising money as a Sunnybrook next generation committee member. Talia (Tai) Jacob is a master’s student in geography at McGill University, researching transgender diasporic imaginings of home, gender and nation. They also host and produce the Gender Blender podcast, are editors at The McGill Daily and do talks on trans matters at universities and colleges such as McGill, York, Brock and Mohawk.
