CLASS OF 2005 BURSARY TOTAL AS AT MAY 31, 2018

CLASS REPS: Charlotte Anderson, Victoria Duda, Leslie Greey and Megan Rolland Laura Stanley is an occupational therapist working in chronic pain and addiction medicine at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in Toronto. She also coaches rowing at Havergal. Kristin Yeo also lives in Toronto and is a child and family therapist, working exclusively in child and family welfare services. After graduating from George Brown’s diploma program for fashion design and techniques, Beverly Law started working on set for the costumes department within the film and television industry. Within the two Toronto film & TV unions (NABET & IATSE), she has worked on set for Suicide Squad and helped sew costumes for Star Trek’s Discovery television series. Beverly then moved to New York with her husband Jonathan Lefkowitz and her Great Dane; she is currently living in Brooklyn. She works as a dyer for the oldest standing costume house in New York City – Parson Meares – where she dyes fabrics for Broadway shows such as Lion King, Phantom of the Opera and Hamilton . Beverly has also been studying spirituality, modalities of alternative healing, and social

and environmental justice…specifically anti-oppression and people of colour “allyship.” Allison MacLachlan is getting married to Derek Hepburn in May 2018 and looking forward to honeymooning in Greece. Amy Fisher is getting married in September 2018 and Elspeth Malcolm is also getting married in fall 2018.

CLASS OF 2006 ENDOWMENT FOR GLOBAL OUTREACH TOTAL AS AT MAY 31, 2018

CLASS REPS: Sarah Bacon Bush, Laura Cheung and Margaret Flatley Our class has been busy this year with many professional and personal accomplishments! Jaime Cardy obtained a master of laws degree from Osgoode Hall law school. She is working as an adjudicator at the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario, and living in Leslieville with her partner Cam and their adopted dog Bigelow. A big shout- out to Havergal’s own Ms. Hartford for bringing Bigelow to Toronto from El Salvador, and to Save Our Scruff for facilitating the adoption! Dasha Peregoudova also practises law, working at Gardiner Roberts. In December,

she appeared at the Supreme Court of Canada as counsel for Gerard Comeau in R. v. Comeau – a case about interprovincial free trade of alcohol. Outside of law, Dasha became the president of AthletesCAN, the association of national team athletes in Canada, and got engaged to her longtime partner Sebastein Heins! Speaking of engagements, Laura Cheung is looking forward to her wedding in June with the help of her bridesmaids and longtime Havergal pals Victoria Leung, Kate Amato and Anna Robinson . Laura will complete her family medicine training in August. In her spare time, she has taken reupholstery classes and is slowly getting through all books written by Agatha Christie. Lisa Cronin
