CLASS OF 1997 ~ 20th Reunion

cockapoo. Signe is in Calgary volunteering and starting to ponder her next position, now that both boys are in school. Catherine Molnar Livingstone lives in Yellowknife with her two sons and her RCAF husband. She welcomes anyone who wants to see the northern lights! Clara Boyd is a neurologist in New York City. Phyllis Wong moved to San Luis Obispo, California and loves the coastal weather. She works as a mortgage lender and spends weekends with her family camping, at the beach or hiking. Meghann Grandy Wooster lives in L.A. with her husband, who designs spacecraft for Mars. She’s at home with three boys, serves as treasurer of the local MOMs club and volunteers at her 7-year-old’s school. Kate Isenburg Sachs lives in L.A. with her twin boys and her daughter. She volunteers at the local children’s museum, at an after-school program for kids in South Central L.A. and at her boys’ school. Cecilia Kitakufe is a family doctor in Michigan and loves serving on mission trips to Haiti, Bangladesh, India or Uganda. Julie McConville has moved to London, England with her family and started a new role in public relations at APO group. Angel Cheung-Horenfeld is chair of the women in business committee for the British Chamber of Commerce in Singapore and creates events for working women. Tulika Agarwal-Narale is a mom and started a jewellery brand with semiprecious stones collected around Asia. She has travelled to Myanmar, Nepal, Oman, New Zealand and Ubud. Rosaline Hsieh has moved back to Hong Kong, reconnecting with Jacqueline Tan and Janie Wong .

Thank you, Lindsay Griesman Mintz , for hosting a memorable 20th Reunion! Lindsay will spend the summer in Italy with her boys eating pizza, gelato and pasta. Also planning a family trip to Italy is Tory Bovaird , who continues as a partner at Deloitte. Tara Dermastja Scott spends time with her two boys, works in Toronto and volunteers as council secretary and chair of the spring fair at their school. Jennifer Watson Dufresne ’s 2.5-year-old twins have her spending spare time at parks and Riverdale Farm, and loitering outside fire halls and construction sites with other toddler parents. Vanessa Oliver continues with Regent Street Commercial Corp., fundraises for juvenile diabetes (supporting a stem cell cure therapy contest) and travelled to Hawaii and Paris. Along with Vanessa Ast Biller , she has joined Beaver Valley Ski Club and enjoys watching the kids ski. Julia Boma-Fischer Card works as a speech language pathologist and is planning trips (with toddler) to Nova Scotia and England this year. Amber Richardson hosted the second annual Olive Harper Foundation Gala, raising more than $10,000. Her 2018 goal is raising enough funds so that all major hospitals have one cuddle cot on maternity wards. Clara Chan is learning Mandarin with her 3-year-old son…he finds it easier than she does! Leslie Pashby Dobbie teaches Grade 3 and enjoys biking, skiing and family travel. This year will include a trip to Australia to see Leslie’s sister! In Ottawa, Jen Lamont has two boys and runs, swims, bikes and skis. Sarah Tennant is campaigning to reduce plastics in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia by introducing Boomerang Bags. Bianca Knop ’s business – Wildfire Experiential and Events – is in its third year. She is mentoring with UBC HKIN faculty and with Forum for Women Entrepreneurs. She enjoys beach volleyball and powder runs in Whistler. Signe McDonald Scammell welcomed the final member of her family, Beatrice – the most adorable
