About HOGA

The Havergal Old Girls Association (HOGA), in partnership with the office of Advancement & Community Relations, provides support to the Old Girls community and maintains connections between the community and Havergal College. The HOGA Directorate is comprised of 14 Old Girls who meet approximately once a month to strategize about how to foster these close connections through philanthropy, mentoring and, of course, having some fun at our annual events! HOGA is currently led by President Jennifer Bidwell, who is joined by Tony diCosmo and Sandra Sualim of the Office of Advancement and Community Relations. All graduates of Havergal College and students who have completed one full year of study are automatically members of HOGA. HOGA works to unite our diverse alumnae community and to celebrate the many contributions and achievements of Havergal Old Girls. They help to advance Havergal’s reputation as the leading independent girls’ school in Canada. Everyone has something unique to offer the

community. There a number of ways in which to showcase your particular skill set. Consider volunteering your time on one of the following HOGA committees: • Governance

• Annual Events and Awards • Mentoring and Networking

• Class Rep/Reunion • Community Relations • Chronicle • Junior School Liaison • Upper School Liaison

In particular, HOGA is currently looking for volunteers for its Fundraising and Community Events committees, as well as a Junior School liaison (an Old Girl with a daughter currently in the Junior School). If you are interested in getting involved with HOGA and one of its various committees, please contact Sandra Sualim, manager of community relations, at 416.480.6524 or ssualim@havergal.on.ca. For a complete list of HOGA Directorate members and committee volunteers, please see page 132.
