CLASS OF 1986 ~ 30th Reunion

CLASS OF 1986 ENDOWMENT TOTAL AS AT MAY 31, 2017

The Class of 1986 celebrated their 30th Reunion last fall.

CLASS REPS: Amy Gaskin and Lisa MacLatchy Naprawa It was wonderful to see so many of you at our 30th Reunion last September. Thank you to Lisa MacLatchy for hosting the dinner in her lovely home. It was a fabulous night of stories, laughter, memories and wine. The turnout was terrific and we were especially thrilled to see a number of classmates who travelled via plane to attend: Clair Fitzgerald and Lana Ogilvie fromNew York; Anne-Marie Berrovoets Slater from Oregon; Stephanie Hickman from Newfoundland; Morrie McOuat Lagacey from Pennsylvania; and Heather Hutchinson from Washington D.C. Thank you to Marin Chisholm Guy for putting together such a phenomenal slide show, and to Kyra Fowler Kappele for hosting the impromptu after- party! In news since the reunion: we have had some new additions to our families! Michele Farrugia has a new labradoodle named Charlie, who keeps her up at night.

The lack of sleep has been offset by the appreciation and adoration of her children. As Michele amusingly put it: “It’s true: you can buy love.” Jennifer Smith Cameron is a grandmother! Avery Faith was born in January 2017. Congratulations to both Jennifer and her daughter Stephanie. Maureen Campbell is taking a six-month leave of absence from work starting this spring. She is planning to walk the Camino Portugués from Lisbon to Santiago de Compostela, take some courses and spend her summer in Victoria. Sounds fantastic!! In the fall, Lisa MacLatchy , Caroline (Frosty) Stone Bain and Kyra Fowler Kappele took their boys to Kilcoo for a mother-son weekend and had a fantastic time enjoying their kids, while at the same time catching up. Kathleen Ruttan Daigle works with Jonathan and Drew Scott ( Property Brothers ) as their executive producer and is currently producing season five of their competition special Brother vs. Brother for HGTV USA. They have shot in Vegas, LA and now Texas. She is heading to Los Angeles this
